BBC's Pride and Prejudice (1995)

This TV mini-series consists of six one-hour-long episodes and is based on Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". I know it's old, but I really liked it. It portrays the story as faithfully as any book adaptation can.

The only thing I have to complain about is that they describe some of the characters as great beauties and the actors don't fit the bill. We have Colin Firth playing the role of Mr. Darcy and Jennifer Ehle as Miss Elizabeth Bennett and I must admit they are a great couple.

Anyway, if you liked the book or the movie adaptation starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen then you can't miss this wonderful mini-series.
